Bolton Wanderers Supporters Community Interest Company
Bolton Wanderers Supporters Community Interest Company (BWSCIC) was incorporated at Companies House on 09 October 2018.
The objects of the Company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to:
- act as the vehicle for the wider community in Bolton to take ownership of the Club;
- liaise with the Supporters’ Trust as the democratic and representative voice of the supporters of the Club and strengthen the bonds between the Club and the communities which it serves;
- work with the Supporters’ Trust to achieve the greatest possible supporter and community influence in the running and ownership of the Club;
- promote responsible and constructive community engagement by present and future members of the communities served by the Club and encourage the Club to do the same;
- operate democratically, fairly, sustainably, transparently and with financial responsibility and encourage the Club to do the same; and
- act as a vehicle for the wider community in Bolton to take ownership of the Club and/or assets relating to the Club and its ability to function as a club and meet its objects.
To further its objects the Company may do all such lawful things as may further the Company’s objects and, in particular, but, without limitation, may borrow or raise and secure the payment of money for any purpose including for the purposes of investment or of raising funds.
